Many people ask what is the current road conditions or who's recently traveled this road.
The Shire of
Dundas' (
Norseman)
website gives excellent road conditions.
BTW I've just rung the Shire of Kondinin to ensure the road is still open from the
Hyden end and the answer is yes and for those concerned the road was graded last week.
cheers

I travelled that road a few weeks ago and apart from a little bit near the mines it's a 80 to 100 KPH rd
The bit from Kondinin Shire to the mines does not have the same surface as the earlier bit and can get a bit muddy but as it's a main
mine road it usually is in good condition.

We traveled through that way on Monday, on our way
home from S.A - the road was in excellent condition and very little traffic.

Just hope this coming weekend's rain doesn't ruin that hard work.

Not going to get vast amounts of rain in the region this weekend, the road could get a bit slippery in
places, but the rain amounts predicted aren't enough to cause any damage.
Hyden predicted to get around 10mm maximum,
Norseman 20mm maximum.
Norseman forecastHyden forecast
Rain levels expected in W.A. over the next 6 days ...
(Click on "Rainfall Forecasts", "Daily from Tomorrow", "50% chance of more than X mm". Then click on the white arrow in the blue square to start
the loop, and zoom in to the area you wish to examine. You can also just click on each day to see the forecast rain amount for that day)

Cheers, Ron.
