Well that's pretty much my problem and no I didn't find a solution. Instead, because we only use the sat phone once or twice a year and I don't have a Telstra mobile, I got a plan with Pivotel and just cancelled it as soon as we got
home - cost me $100 for the month. I thought that was ok considering I kept the $10 Telstra plan going just to use in the sat phone. The communications
shop down the road had me up and going in about 2 hours.
