If you head out of town and take the old highway toward Wootton and turn off to the west at either Stony Knob Rd or Wang Waulk Forest Dr and go exploring.

There are some good tracks, but its also a active logging area, so they could be rough or freshly dozed and in use.

The only camp is at Strike-a-light which is pretty ordinary. The tracks north and east of camp are pretty challenging. The one l remember is Jamesons track. There are heaps of good 4wdrive rugged tracks in that state forest. 4wdrive action did a video on the area yrs ago with members of my old 4wdrive club. Maybe do a search on there website ?
