Been past the areas many times but I am puzzled as to what FY means/indicates. May be obvious to some, other not so.
EOFY means money related, not sure in this case.
Thanks

Many thanks, I couldn't see why it would be financial year related being forces based operations. Maybe they collect money for permits and that is why.
PS, love your profile

Hi Candace, this is good info as I am planning a trip that runs partly through
Woomera area to the north. As I am a dummy, where do I find a map showing these zones, as I have repeatedly looked and cannot find any reference to zone 1 and amber zone 2. Hope somebody could enlighten me for future reference. I am not trying to be a smart a--, but would like to be informed as to plan future trips

This doc has a map at the end showing the zones. They've hidden the info pretty
well.

Amber zone 2 closures affect the
Anne Beadell Highway. The newly release schedule shows it'll be closed the entire month of September. I had been thinking about making a trip, including the AB, in September. But that doesn't look feasible now.

Thanks every one as the map gives me a better indication on the zones for my planning. When frustrated as cannot find the right answer after trying, there is always somebody out there with the knowledge to help out. Once again thanks for all your help and input.

I have taken
the steps of contacting SA Defence with my planned route as
well as the 2 Stations within its boundries I wish to travel. The Stations are a goer on advise of travel times, but all depends on SA Defence as to whether these tracks will be accessible and to what times, or they shall be able to inform me to the route I shall be able to adhere to. By having the maps as supplied by others on this
forum was a great start to my planning. SA Defence have been rather helpful but, it is still a long process to send the info to the correct Department and personnel concerned. It will be just a waiting game now, as time travels slowly
