Suspension

If you referring to front suspension, I was using Bilsteins with King Springs on my Prado 120, the near side Bilstein lower mount snapped off, after contacting the Victorian agents & getting no help, I replaced them with EFS.

Over a period of 20 years, I used Dobinsons springs on 75 & 79 series utes, as well as a couple of UD trucks, and found them very good, John.

Tried Bilstein shocks on rear of an 80 series wagon, and with their monotube, they didn’t hack the pace for long on stoney & gravel roads. Obviously good shock, but only on bitumen!

I’ve been getting a good run from Ironman Foam Pro shocks, on a couple of 79 series utes, though I haven’t done big kms as yet.

Thanks ,Shaker &Bob, had EFS on a hilux many moons ago & they performed well in the rough , thanks for your replies.

Had Bilsteins on my 60serious Landcruiser, lived in Tanami took the old hen to unimaginable places and never a issue. But perhaps like many things they were built better in the old days.

I have run Old Man Emu 2in on my 120 now for 2 years with great results . Was going to do the Bilstein thing but fancied something different as I've done that before on my 95 series
