camp there and shower please

As far as I know camping and shower is still available at
Purni Bore.
There is nothing about it being closed on the SA Desert Parks website.
Of course the Park itself is seasonally closed until March 15th.

Hi David, we camped and used the shower there last year, as Allan has mentioned, there nothing about it being closed, other than the annual
Simpson Desert seasonal closure.

We camped there last June , no problems with amenities , but the
bore was in the process of being re cased , they were at 1200 m at the time

Yes, we passed there last year and shower etc still there.
As mentioned the SA Parks section is closed for the summer / hot season, reopens Friday 15th March at 6pm . . . so really Sat 16th.
Have stopped there one night in numerous times going through, only because we were late-ish pm and tired.
Otherwise we get out of Witjira so we can have a small cooking / social / comfort fire.
