Has anyone travelled the Madigan track from East to West. If so how difficult was it.

Did it in 2004 and 2006. Used have sections that were purely cross country.
Its a lot easier now as more vehicles have travelled it and turned it into a track.

Went west to east last month. East to west would have been a greater challenge as the faces are steeper and chewed up more by the vehicles using momentum to get over.

There wasn't a track at all when we went , we used the compass until we hit the
Hay River track then turned south , up until the track ran out the tracks were like spaghetti , Big mess , just head East .
Great country , and a fantastic drive .
