We drove the Condamine Gorge yesterday, including the dozen or so water crossings. The road was generally in good condition but with some pot holed sections, particularly at gully crossings where water runs over the road.

At most crossings the water was about up to wheel hub level so was easily derivable. Popular too! We started at the southern end but we met lots of vehicles who came in at the north end, including one group of about half a dozen fourbys.

Its a good time to go for a drive. The country looks great.

Cheers,

Kevin

Kevin, it is a nice drive through there and one of the highlights is being able to see across the paddocks to the very start of the Condamine.

Have gone through there after rain and that can be a little interesting at the crossings and parts of the road.

Some great scenery. I hadn't realised that the place called The Head is a reference to the head of the Murray Darling Basin.

Here is another picture of the area.

Cheers,
