I want to weigh our rig and im looking for a public weigh
bridge,Iam staying at Lawnton Queensland and will be heading to
Townsville anybody know of one in that area.

Hi Humpback. I used to live in Lawnton and now live at Caboolture (about 20 minutes north of you). There is a public weighbridge in the Caboolture industrial estate that I have used a few times. The guy who runs it is very helpful and charges $25 a weigh. You take the
Bribie Island turnoff from the Bruce Highway and head to 35 Piper Street.

townsville on the southern approach to town the new road to the port has a free one . Turn right at the lights just passed the Copper Refinery
