Tibooburra to Noccundra Hotel via Warry Gate

Sorry to piggy back on this thread, but I would also like to know about this, but I will be in a Ford RTV ute.

Generally this road is reasonable, but expect some washouts and corrugations, so drive to the conditions.

Good campaign across from the Noccundra Pub by the waterhole.

It depends on recent rains. These roads can be closed in June. Have a plan B

Road is very rocky and be wary of wild dogs, not dingoes, dogs. We have seen a few along there.

Contact Cameron Corner Store - they seem to travel the road regularly and were very helpful with advice a couple of years ago when I did that trip.

We did it 3yr ago and loved the drive...............till we shredded a tyre on the rocky sections.
Overall the road was good, other than the sharp rocks in places.
As you always do.........................drive to conditions.
If the road looks a bit risky, it probably is, but generally they can be travelled safely using some smarts.
Enjoy the drive but watch for the pointy bits.

It's great drive varying conditions but we just took our time and no issues at all towing a Jayco.

Mate , I've done it many many times over the last 12 years , and I used to have a BF Ford RTV myself . The road to Tib is getting more Bitumen every year .
Like others have mentioned , Check road conditions . Rain will bring you to a halt with flooding.
I'm not sure what tyre tread you have on the RTV ,but it (the road ) has some sharp rock sections , I used to take a second spare . ( never needed it ) but it gave me a nice warm fuzzy feeling knowing it was there .
Otherwise a normal family sedan can do that trip .
