Not recently Nugget, but it's geneally in good condition, with the usual disclaimer "unless it's rained !!" :D

It is on the SA outback roads map, so you can check if it's open anytime, and road conds report usually mentions if roads are a problem.

Also not recently, but many times in the past, in both directions.
No drama at all, unless it is wet, then it is closed.

The only wrinkle with that route that I've found is that after rain water is slow to dissipate at the Strez track junction on the Balcanoona side. It can be declared open to 4WD but still catch people out. The advice is to go for the swim, not go wide.
