In a different era, we (family and friends) used to go from Coffs to the Golden Dog at Glenreagh for a bit of Sat arvo relaxation.
Afternoon snacks provided, good cold ales, fun things for the kids to do (like bring back a carpet python to torment us with) then in the evening the old pianola was pedalled up for a "sing along".
What great times they were, about when the Glen/
Dorrigo rail closed and the sawmill still operating
Having said all that, I think one can still
free camp there, and its a better way to travel Coffs to
Grafton.
The pub would be the best place to call (02) 66492162
