Looks like a
well-planned system, and a great balance of solar/alternator charging and battery options. Too much solar? - no problems! Too little solar - unhappiness. I reckon you made the right choice!

After using the system now for at least 9 months, and 3 reasonable length trips, it has been trouble free. The extra capacity has made charging a breeze, and given the confidence to remain stationary for a lot longer than I previously would have.
Being able to switch the charge direction to the front auxilliary battery has also been handy, particularly as my Inverter gets a hammering on occasion when charging battery packs and I can relax if running the second fridge.
