For those who have travelled the
Great Sandy Desert and used the Telfer Access Road whilst travelling through from Punmu / Kunawaritji may recognise this
bore.
It is at chainage 108 near where the old
rabbit proof fence from Cape Keraudren crossed the road.
Four weeks ago we were struggling to get more than a few truck loads of water out of it for the roads and now we cant get to it. Have already extended the hoses recently. Having a big wet up here this year.

G'day Munji,I know that spot
well, used to work at Telfer until they shut it down in 2000 to rebuild. Big Pat used to grade the access road as
well as Westy from
Marble Bar.
I used to have my Toyota up there for a few months of the year and go touring around
the desert on my week off instead of flying back to the big smoke (
Perth)
