Fred, there is no need to worry. No water in Eyre Creek and no need to detour. Dry as chips over here. Out there last week - great place to picnic. Hope this helps.

Ruth, sound like a good place for indians to hide, hehehe.
Happy trails, Mike.
PS. I gather the Simpson is a completely different place to last year? see ya in 3 weeks, Mike.

Hi Mike - didn't see any when I was out there the other day - but I was looking at birdies. Only 3 weeks to go. plenty of people coming out of the Simpson today (Sunday) and big mobs going in tomorrow - Qld School Holidays started. Yep, reckon the Desert sure is different - but it can change in a couple of days, specially the tops of the dunes. By the way, Michelle and David (and Baby Leah) from ExplorOz are here at the moment, they are envious that I get to meet some of the people from
Forum (like Mal, the two M.A.L.S, Weddy and you etc. - hopefully not Goran tho - he scares me). See you soon Mike.
