I have a crusader caravan 2005 the 240v over 12v inverter? has died this only seems to power the lights. Went to the caravan company near by they have sold me ctek mxs15 battery charger will this work without a battery for the lights.
I will be buying battery in the future will this work thanks - ajs52

Yes, the Ctek MXS15 will supply the lights without a battery. In the "Supply" mode it produces 13.6v and will supply up to 15A.
Connect the charger's leads to the van's 12v battery connections observing correct polarity and be sure that the connections cannot touch each other or bodywork. Insulate the +ve connection with tape if needed.
To put the charger into the "Supply" mode plug in and switch on the 230v mains then repeatedly press the Mode button until the "Supply" light comes on. This will need to be repeated if the 230v supply is lost then reconnected.
Later, this charger can be used to charge the van battery from the park mains.

Maybe the setting is remembered Zippo, I'm not sure.
