Dont quote me but I think Hallmark have shut up
shop. They used to be over the next suburb from me and I noticed the yard is empty. Without a doubt they were a good van and still are but you got them the way Jurgens wanted to build them . Someone on the track last year told me he had shut up
shop and wouldn't let his son take over.

Is that the Jurgens caravans from South Africa, If so they are imported by Open Sky now but will
check at the
Sydney show on the weekend.

Hi Bob,
No, Jurgen, I think was the christian name of the guy that built Hallmark Vans. From memory he was Austrian or there abouts. We looked at his vans when we were upgrading and was quite impressed. In fact his "normal" on road vans spent plenty of the time on some of our worst tracks in his testing of them.

Mates of
mine purchased Boroma...one off road, the other a standard van. I had a good look over their vans and I was most impressed with the build quality. ( I have a Coromal standard van and the Boroma was clearly a cut above this). Can' t say how the off road performed when off road however.
