Just spent the WA Day long weekend at
Emu Creek Station. Was truly an excellent weekend quiet & peaceful. Plenty of bird life for those into bird watching with over 50 species found on the station & plenty of bush walking can also be done. Owners Joyce & Daryl are fabulous hosts who will make time for a chat over a cup of tea.
Camping area is grassed & has plenty of shade along side the nearly 3 km permanent
water hole locate two hundred meters from the station house perfect for a refreshing swim or paddle in one of the two canoes free for guests to use.
Campers have access to a shower &
toilet facilities which include towels & soap if required. Meals & tea & scones can be provided for those not equipped or wanting a break from cooking.
Sunset & Mill tours are available & can be arranged during your stay.
In Conclusion an excellent spot & great people to spend a few days relaxing whilst touring or as i did to get away from work in
Karratha for a few days & you have to try Joyce s homemade Tomato Chutney its so good.
