Comment: Carnegie Expedition 2013 - Day 12 Exploring the Erica Range in search o

Hi Mick,

Thanks for another fantastic armchair ride, through awesome country; and what a privilege it must have been to first find Carnegie's waterhole and then be able to sit down and take in all in.

The photo Contemplation ie Jaybub sitting in his chair on the salt lake is a stark reminder of how desolate and at the same time wonderful this country can be.

Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to more adventures from the three Amigos.

cheers

Phil, It’s interesting to look back at it now and think how fantastic it all was. The reality….great times but bloody hard work! Out of bed before dawn, hard slog till 5.00 p.m. and usually in bed exhausted by 7:00 p.m. Hot, dusty, difficult terrain, mountainous sandhills punctures, punctures and more punctures. I intend to be a whole lot lighter and fitter next time round (yeah right…I say that every year!).

Glad you’re enjoying the ride.

Mick
