Lovely to read of your
Yorke Peninsula trip, we are new to caravaning, having just purchased a Crusader, rear door, 14'6'' recently. Were going to head over to
Moonta and some lovely day trips down the coastline for a few days, but the trip has been put on hold for a few weeks. The day before we were due to leave I had a fall and broke my wrist in two
places, arm in plaster so trip is postponed for awhile!! Never mind are really looking forward to when we eventually get there.

Hi Issie
Firstly all the very best with your broken wrist and hope you are able to get out with your new caravan ASAP. The
Moonta Bay Caravan park in right on
the beach front and very popular and you will have a fantastic time. If you are there and the
Moonta Mines tourist train is running, it is worth doing that as
well. I can not tell you how main times we have driven the
tourist drive, the
old mine ruins are great.
If you are also after other caravan parks down that way, there are also many great parks on offer and another very popular town with another great caravan park, again right on
the beach front is
Stansbury.
Enjoy the
Yorke Peninsula, as there is such a lot to see and do and if you enjoy fishing, do not forget to pack the fishing rods.
Cheers
Stephen
