Another great blog Steven and fantastic reference photos. We to are usually tail end Charlie on our trips and get a great joy at stopping for flowers and birds. Actually when out in the deserts its usually a big day if we exceed 90 kms for that day.

Hi Mike
Good to see that you enjoyed what I have put together and taken the time to submit a reply. As you already know, it is surprising what you can see when you take your time and as often stated, "stop to smell the roses".
Remote desert trips are fantastic, but are made even better when there are
wildflowers around.
