Hi Stephen,
They are a very good series of 'Photo's. I guess it puts a whole new meaning on the phrase 'stop and smell the flowers'..
We do tend to miss much of what Mother Nature provides us and I guess that many '4wd tourists' would hasten from one place to another and not see the beauty that is available to all of us that stop and look..
Well done..
take care
MJ

Hi Michael
Thanks for that, and what you have said is so true. I have now found it a number of times that when we stop, there can be at least 3 different species of flower in bloom and really you do not loose that much time.
Even though I called myself the snail — because I was tail end Charlie and always stopping, I was still no more than 15 minutes behind the others when we would arrive at a stop.
I am now looking forward to next years trip and hope that there will be just as good a display out in the
Great Victoria Desert.
Cheers
Stephen
