Thanks for the blog Stephen, excellent write up.
We missed this on our Flinders Trip last year, although we did visit a lot of the other old mines, a favorite being the Nuccaleena
Mine. Looks like a few more trips will be required.

Thanks for that. If you are ever passing through
Burra, then the Herritage Tour would be very bennificial. We love all the
old mine buildings, and
Moonta is also a great spot as
well.
As for Nuccaleena, this would have to be up there with the best, that is for sure. Every time I see the fine old stone structures, I marvel at the quality of the Stone Masons work and how they built those fine old buildings with no modern
tools like we have today.
