Hi Mick,
Looks like we missed you by a couple of hours in
Tibooburra on 14/7. We got into town from the east mid afternoon and at that time all roads out of town were closed.
Cheers,
Val.

A shame that. I was having a nice snooze in the yard of the service station when they opened the Silver City south. We had considered going the long way east but the local shire blokes said to hang around as they were sure the road south would open around the 12.30-1.00 p.m. mark providing no more rain fell. I think all roads north, east and west remained closed (although the road to Wanarring was open, it was closed from Wanarring to
Bourke). Thank god for bitumen although we didn't strike any further rain and the next day dawned clear. How long did you stay in town for?
Cheers Mick
