Hi all, we just decided to splurge out and join, as we've kind of become hooked on the site over the last month or so. We enjoy the odd day trip getting the car dirty and as there's always safety in numbers, would be interested in hearing from anyone who would like to meet up in Murrundindi or Gembrook or Mt Disappointment, Toolangi etc. Hope to hear from anyone.

Welcome to this wonderful site, Iwould love to join you for day trips but VIC is a long way for a day trip, it's a bugger because it is such a beautiful part o oz, but will be down that way in april ANZAC day long weekend in Wombat state state foraset can't wait.

Fez& Kez,Yeb,actually planning to head up that way soon, use to camp at Murrindindi nearly every long weekend,B4 kids,been up there only a few times since.Use to go there and wish i had a 4wd ,so we could venture out on the tracks,but only had a 2wd!.Now that we've got the 4wd,would love to head up there,with someone and check a few tracks out.I'm also planning to go from Marysville down to Walahala soon too and camp along the tracks/river.
Let us know when you're thinking of doing it? Takes me about 1 1/4 hrs to get there from Lysterfield..

As I said above Can't make it till at least the 4th april. Kids birthday sleep overs and work ect......sorry mate.
let us know what you think too.
As a side note, we just did marysville to Walhalla Australia day weekend. Not a bad run but be warned that nearest fuel from Walhalla
is now Moe.
Our trip notes said , and i quote "Climb the hill and on your left the large camping area of Merringtons is visible, this is TOPS." We thought It was c@#p....However the river crossing there was a great test piece
(see our photo above.)
