Apparently Skype can connect for 'from USD 2.62' per minute.
I'm trying to get more specific info.
If anyone has a Skype account with credit maybe you could use the
Check Rates button after entering Inmarsat in the country field at
https://secure.skype.com/catalog/rates
It doesn't work for me as I don't have credit I suspect.

Sigmund,
What I have found to be the best for me, If my family or friends wish to contact me they e-mail @no cost my sat phone (Isat pro). I then call them back.
The call back costs is one unit per minute. The last block of 100 units cost me $112.00 with 6 mths expiry . Obviously $1.12 per min. & am only charged for the part of unit used 30 sec =1/2 unit.& no connection fee.
Am aware that doesn't answer Your question but why bother with Skype.
Mike.

Thanks for checking it out D-Maxer.
I finally got through to Support. That query doesn't show the rate but apparently you pick any o/s country & use the Inmarsat number. USD 2.61 per minute it is.

Inmarsat is one of the catalog options however it did not return a rate in the same way selecting a country returns mobile and landline rates. Maybe send them an email.
