want instant hot food and drink.......no cooking required !?

Some time ago someone was looking for ideas for a quick hot meal at the end of a long day in the saddle when they were too tired to cook and it was dark, well how about this; a can that heats itself !!
I haven't tried it so can't comment but you just press the bottom of the can and in three minutes you have a can of hot soup .

Wicket, I had the latte when I was in Japan for 3 weeks in 2003, didn't try chocolate or soup and noddles. The coffee was passable but sweet, I don't take sugar. It worked well as a hand warmer (it was winter). Looks good for emergency or lazy pack.... :)

The lolly shop in Walhalla sells coffee in self heating cans....Have not tried one but if desperate i suppose it would be good....Maybe we can have a coffee club meeting there some time....

Agree with Bludge re the coffee. I use to buy them at the Dysart (CQ) service station. If you like condensed milk in your coffee then you will more than likely appreciate the sweetness. Interestingly I haven't seen them elsewhere in my travels.
