Carson River Track Recent Condition

Will be following this with interest - read same post .... there was another post some time ago - I think a couple with an Oka ... would like to do this track all the way to King George Falls .

We explored Carson Station (including the King George Falls) in 2006 and drove from Home Valley to Oombulgurri in 2007.

Carson Station was not so difficult.
It took some time to get permission, but it is now leased, so may be easier - not sure.

The Carson Track from Home Valley was a different question.....tough country that!
It took over a year to get the permissions to do this and we could have gone right through, but the Toyotas may have struggled with fuel.
56km in 3 days....

Looks like a slow trip but rewarding.
The info I listed being most recent means there has been only one 'wet' since their trip so hoping for some info over the last 3 months after access was possible.

I will be doing the Carson Track in 10 days time with the traditional owner.
all going well they will then do Tag a long Tours.
so will keep you up dated
