Hi All
Being relatively new to the South
Perth region I am keen to find some (local) spots for some exploring, Camping and 4wdriving, ( yes i was lucky enough to Drive from
Darwin to
Perth Via the Kimberly,
Broome, west coast etc) I have been through and seen some of the Harvey
Dam area, Sues
bridge and Myllup beach but am looking for more spots, I live in South Yunderup and having come from
Darwin I love the Outdoors. Any Suggestions? Also keen to join a local 4x4 club but Have had no luck as they all seem to have no Vacancies, I have a very Capable hilux with all the mod cons and recovery gear. Anyway Any ideas and suggestions are much appreciated.
Cheers
Adam

Hey Adam.
It's a great part of this country, and a great place to explore, get your self a few maps and books on the area, and go for a drive.
We have been over there twice, my wife and I both have family over that way, great
places to explore.
My son moved to
Perth a few years ago, I flew over one Christmas, couple of swags it the back of his navara and off we went, made our way to cape LeGrand , 3 weeks. Had a ball.
Wife n I drove from near
Canberra, left here 1st of March, spent 8 weeks driving to
Perth and back, via eyre peninsula and the south west corner.. Loved it.. Enjoy. Cheers Odog

Adam around Lane
Pool Reserve tracks everywhere some of the old "Forms" which are the old train lines used to bring in timber they are minus the tracks are good to travel on so are the Fire lines. Suggest getting a few topo maps and good mapping software, anywhere to the east of Brunswick
Junction some wild tracks in there.
White cliffs to
Preston beach but watch it in winter some of the storms take
the beach away. Find Scarp road and take a drive along it cuts in and out along the Darling Scarp, some good tracks along it.
