G'day all,
Has anyone driven this road recently? Any details would be appreciated
Anyone who has would probably be a prospector.
We are looking to traverse this road towing our Phoenix off road c'van behind the 200 series Toyota.
Regards,
Ian

I travelled it back in 2006 to visit the
Yarrabubba Meteor Impact site , most interesting as it was so many millions of years ago that about 30m of soil has eroded away all over the plain that now the Melt core is exposed and the actual crater has gone.
As you can by the photo the road is sand and quite good .

Ian
Bro-in-law travelled it 3 years ago in his little Tourag + Cub Camper - all OK
It is shown as a thick dashed line (major hwy/unsealed) on the Hema maps
Having been in that area last year, my guess would be that prospectors would be a definite minority - unless you mean the ones that use a CP (eg
Sandstone) and venture out on day trips.
Cheers
Andrew
