All,
I am looking for an app (iphone/iPad) to:
- Drop pins of
places where I have been or where I want to go
- Be able to annotate these
places so I can record what it was like etc
Want to create a record of my camping trips in Australia.
Does anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Jason

Whats wrong with Google Earth. Ours are all over it and all marked private so only we can see them. Photos and heaps of comments at each stop. Even some ones waiting for the right time to go there.

You might want to try "PDF Maps"
It's free, can download 1:250k maps most of which are free as
well as add "drop pins" which you can add comments attach photo's and a few other things which I'm not sure of.

Jason,
The Wikicamps app will do all those things you mentioned...............except you'll have to share with every other bloke and his dog.

The hema app is really good for use on the phone.
You can pre mark pins before you go then add more as you go, plus photos with the pin.
So for your use, be at
camp mark a pin, with a photo and add a title and comments in too
