Hi guys,
A group of 6 4x4's from
Adelaide towing three vans and three campers are heading to the Cape next year around July
We will need to leave the 3 caravans at least somewhere up from
Cairns and wondering if any of the Caravan parks will allow us to store the vans in a unused back corner for roughly two to three weeks.
Does anyone know of anywhere where we could do this.
Cheers
Craig

Craig,
The caravan park owners at
Daintree have a property where they allow you to leave your van free provided you stay at the CP, before you do the Cape. This info was correct last time I was there which was about two years ago.

Endeavour Falls Tourist Park, north of
Cooktown. You pass it if heading north into Lakefield NP.

Nico the guy that sells fresh fish from his landcruiser in the main drag of
Cooktown allows caravan
parking on his remote property just outside
Cooktown, about $30 per week no power.

Mt Carbine again. We used it in 2011. Stayed (I think) 4 or 5 nights in total up and back and did not pay for storage. Plus a great spot with interesting stuff around the area as
well as the (then) Managers Robs stories.
