Didn't get to the
Perth 4wd show but had intended to to
shop for the Yamaha 2800. If anyone went and priced/purchased one of these I would appreciate what they were selling for and the dealer?.
With a bit of luck they might still do a similar deal straight after. Best price I had a few weeks before was $2,000.
Thanks

Bungarra - Yamaha have new reduced prices, all across the board, on a large number of their products, commencing Nov 1, 2013.
The EF2800i is now priced at $1899, on special.

Hi there
I had intentions of purchasing a 'big name' generator a few years back- and I was asked the question:
How often did I intend to use it ?? The answer was- as little as possible.
So why spend big money ?? I ended up getting a new 'no name' one off ebay (with the same warranty as the big name) for about 1/5 of the price of the big name..
And it has served me
well. Only used it a few times and had not let me down. I give it a start and run before a trip.
I am setup with efficient alternative power sources so the genny is mainly just ballast!!
Cheers
