The water from the Cooper did not reach the Cullymurra
Waterhole as of last night. Diamantina water is 7.3 metres today and the
grid on eastern end of town is now out of the water. Ian scooped some water at the front of the park and filled the net with tiny catfish (NB we often get these little catfish in a flood and just before the big fish come - but have never caught an adult catfish here). Going to set some lines tonight.

Hey Ruth
Are they the catfish with really tough skin that you take off before you
cook it and are supposed to be excellent eating ?

Hay Paul - the catfish are about 2 inches. I'm not peeling them.
