We are looking for a
home tutor to teach 2 boys through
Kimberley School of the Air (
home schooling).
Teaching experience not required but an advantage, although previous experience with children required. All resources are provided by the school.
We are a family owned & operated cattle station (Nita Downs Station) in the West
Kimberley, 220km south of
Broome on the Great Northern hwy.
A great chance to experience station life, not too far from
Broome and access
the beach from the station. Opportunity to join in station work out of school hours and some afternoons - optional.
Suit single person however may also suit a couple (eg retirees) as we only have the one paid position available for the
home tutor. Partner welcome to base themselves here if working off the station or doing fly in fly out work etc.
Will need to few things such as a “WA Working with Children” card & senior
first aid before commencing. Working visa required if from overseas. We use the inhomecare service.
Will need a drivers licence and own car recommended (not for work) so you can have some independence to go to town or
the beach etc on time off (station has
beach access).
Separate self-contained accom available or can plug in a caravan (power & water available)
