Good morning all i need some information regarding traveling on the gulf development road from 40 mile scrub through to
Georgetown and finishing up at
Normanton.I have a 25ft van being towed by an F250,as i am doing the big lap time is not an issue,could anybody let me know what the road is like and what is there to see on this trip.

Road is very good to Mt Surprise - stay ay Bedrock Caravan Park (excellent). After that, before and after
Georgetown, road is tar but some skinny sections - just pull over and stop for roadtrains. There is lots of roadworks going on.
Tar all the way to
Normanton.
