Hi all
I am just wondering whether you can put you car on the ferry and take it across to Thursday Island.I was thinking that Gunny and I might spend a week fishing over there.

Thursday Island is a very small place. Easy to walk to anywhere. Unless there has been a recent change, I don't believe you can get a car on the ferry.

Also taxis if you want to go to the back of the island. As Alan H said, it's a small place so shouldn't cost the earth. Lots of travellers do the day trip from Seisea so you won't be alone. Stay overnight if you don't want to be rushed.

Hi Stuart,
I'm not sure of my facts here but Thursday Island is an entry point into Australia and thus has a heavy quarantine presence, you may get Gunny over there but will there be a problem bringing him back? Just a thought.
Mike.
