Steering Wheel Shake

A few things to check:

Are the wheel nuts tight?
Have you lost a wheel balance weight?
Are your steering linkages loose/worn?

Just a few ideas.

Classic symptom of wheels being out of balance. Dollars to doughnuts if you drop into your friendly tyre service mob and get them to check/adjust the balance your problem will disappear. It may be something more dramatic such as a bubble in a tyre, but that should be obvious visually.

Without knowing what you drive, I would start by checking whether you have lost wheel weights from the wheels, then mud on the rims.
If that checks out OK, start by looking for wear in the steering joints, wheel bearings and swivel housings.
It's unlikely but possible that a tyre has developed a bulge which will cause the symptoms you have experienced.

If this does not find the source of your problem, take it to an expert.

As Sn00py2 has said, a balance weight may have departed. If you look closely on the inside and the outside of the front rims/tyres you may see where the weight was and also it's size so you can replace it.

I was wondering, not wandering, if a tyre may have developed a lump ie delamination of tread and it is causing an out balance condition.

Jack up each wheel and rotate to see if there is any noticeable out of true happening.

If a weight has been lost a while ago, then the tread will be worn shallow on the exact opposite of the tyre and this may also be an indicator if you find a worn area.

It would be acting as if heavy because the other diametrically opposite position is light.

If you have recently been offload, just check that you haven't got a great clos of mud attached to inside rim. Early GU Patrol rims were particularly bad for holding mud and noticed same on a young blokes newish hilux recently.

It may also be a damaged steering box, esp. GU Patrol.

CV joint/s perhaps.

That was ours. But it would go away and we had a clunk every now and then after parking and then reversing out on a good hard lock.

Well guys got my tyres rotated back to front had a wheel balance and alignment done today and my wobble still there i will have to investigate further i think . Its hard when you use the car every day for work . I checked the wheel bearings with the guy at tyre place and they are good so i will go from here i suppose. Any more suggestions could do with help otherwise i think Ape suspensions are on gnagarra road get them to check it or somewhere else
