Hi All,
I have gme tx 3540
uhf radio and I would like to install it in my new Dmax. Can anyone suggest a suitable location to mount it? It is suitable to mount it out of sight as all the controls are on the mic.

That is the idea of the unit, hide the main unit under the dash.
I have a Dmax and have installed the TX3100 down on the side of the console, I have the hand piece just below the rhs vent left of the steering wheel.

Hi MarJac
I have
mine mounted behind the left hand kick of my 100 series. It is a tight fit -but have had no issues since installation. Can't remember if I had to get an extension cable for the mic or if the one supplied was long enough.
Cheers
Anthony

I installed
mine under the drivers
seat. With an extended mount supplied I then located the hand mike on the dash. No problems, neat and out of site, and allowed me to install another radio in the console

My GME is not quite as fancy but I have put it on the centre console to the left of and a bit forward of the gearstick. The mic is on the LHS of the dash panel between the middle airvents. If you want to hide the actual radio you can put it same place but behind the console side. I'm slowly getting
mine sorted out. Have the spacecab and picked up my canopy this morning - now to fit it. Have also taken off the chrome rear bumper and had an ARB towbar step fitted. Next I guess is some form of
suspension fix. rgds
