Hi all
Looking for 1only 79 series GXL 5 stud 16x7 alloy rim second hand. New one costs $1100.00.Tried everywhere most wreckers sell out as soon as they get them. I've left details with most of them to no avail.
I've heard that Speedy Rims have a copy called the Territory, anyone now what they are like? pretty cheap I've heard, somewhere around $250.00. Any suggestions?

G, day jack, I have the speedy territory, s on my troopy. I am very happy with them, only 190 each from tyrepower.

Hi Outback, just today I found out today that the wreckers want around $500 for a GXL alloy wheel and as you say, sell them as soon as they get them. I will be getting a Speedy Silver Territory to use as a second spare, been quoted $210, but if I buy tyres as
well, should do better. The 1400kg loading of the Speedy is impressive, I heard about this brand from the Lcool

Hello Jack,
I have also been looking for a spare rim and tyre for 76 Series and enquired at Toyota at the weekend due to not being able to get a second hand one. Thier price is around $1200.
Great to hear there is another option for a more realistic tyre as a back up.
Does anybody know how tough they are at this price?

See cocoon reply 1400 kg rating. You don't get much tougher than that. I have done 70000ks on
mine with no probs, GVDesert, central road, Israelite to Eyre track and many others

The territory is not absolutely identical but looks pretty close.
But you'll need to buy 5 standard wheel nuts to go with the speedy rim (about $6 each from Toyota), as they don't use the alloy nuts that Toyota supplied with your factory alloys.

I think you get the correct wheel nuts with the Speedy rims. When I bought
mine they came complete with wheels nuts that suit.

Hi Jack,
Had the same problem with my LC200.
Ended up buying from toyota 4 x steel wheels @ $130 each and kept the alloys for spares for only when on the Wallaby
Cheaper and stronger solution.
