Hi We are heading towards the Kimberleys in June/July and driving a Ford Transit M/home (diesel). Can anyone advise if Oodnadatta track would be OK, and also the Tanami, as we want to go to Broome.

Hi the Oodnadatta will be a breeze for you, just drive to the conditions as it is a bit rough south of Coward Springs, i did the track last week all the way down. Drop your tyres about 20% on what you would normally run on bitumen. Tanami track i havent done this year so cant comment on current cond! Some people will give you advice that have done it 5 years ago, you need to know current cond.
