Considering travelling this route in few weeks time and after any recent info on condition of track. Also be doing Inaminka to
Haddon Corner and appreciate any recent info on track as
well. Be taking Isuzu D max and off road van (14ft Gunyah) so expect fuel consumption to high.

We travelled to Noccundra a couple of weeks ago on a short break.
Great
free camping on the
Wilson River.
Sorry I can't help with road conditions beyond there, but would like to suggest that you take plenty of fly repellent and or fly veils if you wish to do anything outside.
Have a great trip.

I'll second the flies. Repellent won't help though!

Hi. We were out that way during
Easter. The Noccundra publican will be able to give you the latest advice. Noccundra to Cameron Cnr via Naryilco was closed but should be open by now. Noccundra to Naryilco was tame although rutted in some sections. A rig move was in progress so about a 25 km section was graded to perfection. We went via
Tibooburra to Cameron Cnr with no dramas.
Innamincka to
Cordillo Downs turn off was a bog hole. Although it should be dry by now. If it hasn't been graded it will be severely rutted. On advice from
Innamincka Trading Post, we took the
Nappa Merrie to Arrabury Rd and then backtracked to the
Cordillo Downs rd which was a bog hole from the turn off to
Cordillo Downs. The Arrabury Rd was a dream and we didn't strike water and mud until about 10 km south of
the junction. We did hear at
Innamincka that the track into Haddon Cnr was very cut up. The
Innamincka Trading post will be able to give you reliable up to date info.
Hope this helps.

Thanks guys appreciate your input. Intended to go via
Tibooburra and since travelling with family who have
young ones likely be a slow trip. From
Cameron Corner was going to Merty Merty then up strez track to
Innamincka. Surprised still water on roads out that way and will get in touch with
Innamincka Trading Post to get latest on
Haddon Corner track. Perhaps Corner Store might have info as
well so will try and get in touch with them as
well.
Thanks
Glenton

Glenton,
From Moomba to
Innamincka, the corrugations were horrific so be prepared for a slow crawl.

Was up that way on the weekend. Tiboobura to Nocundra varies from graded sandy red dirt to rocky stone gibber. Slow down and take it easy on the rough rocky sections or you will
puncture tyres. No water around on roads, pretty dry and dusty.
