We have a few weeks off around July/August and we were thinking of 'doing' the
Outback Way from
Winton down to
Laverton.
Has anyone been along this road lately and is in a position to comment on road conditions?
Also, from the
outback way web site, I note that fuel stops appear to be every 200 to 300 kilometres with the longest stretch being 466 kilometres between Jervois and
Boulia - is this what you have found?
Thanks,
PeterF.

G'day Peter,
Conditions at the moment are mostly good (NT border to
Laverton side) although fairly corrugated 120km's west of us and through to
Laverton.
This of course will change many times between now and August, so feel free to give us a yell before you travel to
check on conditions at the time.
Cheers
Al
