So far I have only been testing the unit and found that it is very accurate compared with the normal GPS.
I am still only in the learning stage regarding connecting to friends/family etc.... The latter seem more concerned about what the unit etc. costs and not the safety aspect (city dwellers!!!) and do not understand the saving costs re. search parties etc..
Even though it is only has one way communications at least with the help button you can indicate a non emergency situation.
Overall very satisfied with the unit.
