Folks,
Does anyone know where Ican get hold of a floor console and door pockets (at a reasonable price) for a 79 series (2006 HDJ79R) Landcruiser ute.
Mine has the 11/2 size passenger
seat with a single buket drivers
seat.

Mapsy,
I don't know of a proper console to fit between the bucket and the 11/2
seat. You can get those ones that sit on the gearbox hump. Here is a photo.

Other than that you have replace the 1 1/2
seat with a bucket. I fitted a console to my old 75 series from a V8 ute.

A bucket is not that hard to fit. All the captive nuts are there hidden under the floor. You have to measure exactly where the holes are on your drivers bucket
seat and then transpose those measurements to the passenger side. You then drill small pilot holes and fell with a piece of wire whether you are in the center of the hidden nut. If all is good you drill a large hole making sure you don't damage
the nut. I also use a vacuum cleaner to catch the swarf.

Thanks Rockape. The first photo is what I'm chasing although I would like to install a bucket passenger
seat also. Finding them is a bit of an issue. I thought there would be a few around but apparently they're like hen's teeth.
