Still getting used to using website. Sent off message earlier re
TV Antenna's but now realize that threads are probably the way to go. Threads is entirely new lingo to me
so please bear with me.
Just wondering who of our Explore Oz mates out there know anything about
TV Antenna's
We are on about our third and now with everything going digital wondering what we should be using that does WORK. Our present one is an Explorer C2SG Deluxe - at times it works - not other times. Bit hit and Miss.
LOVE TO HEAR THE EXPERTISE OF OTHERS.

It's a bit like that with all of us. We are in a Van club and there are umpteen different antennas in use. Some work better in some areas, others in other areas. It's a toss up.
Decent antenna, good quality booster (most of the expensive antennas have em built in anyhow) Good quality Cables is important. Good quality TV also.
And a good book for when you can't get anything to watch

Yep, that's pretty much what we thought.
I thought there might have been an antenna guru/nerd out there who could solve our problem instantly. Worth a try
I have the books - but Kev is not a reader, but he does read camping magazines.
Anyway sitting gazing at Nature is pretty good ( for me).

Digital terrestrial TV reception is very problematic, especially in a caravan. Take a look at the
Digital Ready site for advice on antennas.
I found there were too many hassles for me so I invested in a VAST sat TV setup.

Yes Kevin, Viewer Access Satellite Television. It is subsidized by the government to supply remote areas with the same TV programs as the cities. It is also available to travellers such as us. Recently there has been a twin tuner, recorder released.
