camping at tom groggen

There is the main camping area which is very nice but there is also quite a large overflow paddock type area over near the river crossing. You shouldn't have any problems getting a spot but the main camp ground is definately the way to go if you get there at the right time of day. A great 4wd also up to Mount Pinnibar is worth a look.

Hi Noel,
If you cross the river and head to Dogmans hut, there is a nice cleared area close to the river with a firepit and pit toilet. Usually it's not as busy as the NSW side. We stayed there back in late November and had the place to ourselves.
