Born in Edmonton Canada and set off to see Oz in late1963. Toured around for approx 3 years including working in
Brisbane, East of
Perth on the Standard Gauge Railtrack installation and
Sydney. Left to see more of the world and returned to Canada for a year. But I couldn't forget the sun, the people and opportunities in Australia so I came back. Never regretted it.
Now that I'm retired I am able to travel this land I love at my own pace. So far have toured much of the East including Queensland coast up to
Daintree, across the Savanah Way to
Kakadu and
Darwin on a 5 month adventure in 2015 and down the Centre plus Flinders this year (2016). Hope to do big loop across to Southern WA and up the cost to the
Kimberley's and back to
home in central NSW at Coolah.
