Some time ago I asked a question about ALL dash lights flashing on and off. It would appear that this is a known problem with 80 series and 100 series Toyotas (see LCOOL site) Anyway that happened 6 to 8 months ago - went away by itself - and now 12,000kms later something similar.
Have not driven the Toyota for about a week and today when I turn a right hand corner the dash lights flicher on and off - left hand corner no problems. Can this be possible and can any one expalin WHY. Can there be water in the alternator moving from one side to the other and causing an intermittent fault.

Not sure at this stage - went for 20 min drive late today and - yes - was only happening when I turned right - so could be as you say - I will get my auto electrician to look at it tomorrow (if he is back from holidays)

I am sure a mate of
mine down south in Swan
Hill had an alternator wire break off or something on his turbo model 100 and it had a dash controller or module replaced as
well for something else to do with the fuel tank sender. So
check your alternator wiring as i think Toyota said it had been a previous issue.
