Just back from a very hot
Mildura - Saturday (NYE) was according to the forecasters, a top of 46 degrees - but under our awning the gauge was sitting on 50 - dammmm hottt!!!!
Met up with skulduggerie at Buronga - good to meet you and Brigita - hope the insect bite on her leg is ok - as
well as the dogs.
Happy, safe and prosperous New Year to all - we didn't win the 32mill - so back to work on Wednesday.
By the way - we have a window protector on our back window - Tuffek (after the horse has bolted - or the window broken, naturally!!) - the velcro melted while the car was sitting in the sun - so we know to either take it off or make some kind of bracket to go over the top fo the door so it doesn't fall completely off - will work on this before next trip I think.

Hi Jules - it was nice to meet you and
John. We had a great trip but it was too #!** hot for me. We spent two nights at Blanchtown on the way back. Glad you are
home safe. Too many didn't make it
home this year.
